We recommend that you listen to Feel It All Around (Toro Y Moi Remix) 1. It was uploaded by future classic on Soundcloud. http://bit.ly/107xFZO
The fact that I have to use Spotify instead of Soundcloud to link to this song is so wrong.
Sleater-Kinney is old now. It’s hey-day came and went while we of the undergraduate generation were still trading Pokemon Cards and trading fruit roll ups at lunch. But something tells me that if the riot grrrl movement happened in the 2010’s that they would have been all. over. Soundcloud.
There is always a need for this kind of visceral chick rock awesomeness. It’s raw, harsh and so lo-fi at times you feel a little bit of second hand embarrassment, but sometimes I think thats what being a lady is all about.
Plug in.
XOXO

Rex and I have started working on a new album. I am also working on some other music with new heads that i’m pretty excited about. The band will be touring more this summer in Asia and Europe and the Pacific Northwest of the United States. I want to get to Paris as so many of you have been writing requesting that. Working on it! More details on all this soon!
LOVE,
TAMARYN
With that good news in mind, here is a track off their recent LP, Tender New Signs, released back in 2012.
Have no fear! You can still listen to the podcast of their appearance on WJHU Radio.
Mind bending, mind blowing and all around unbelievable, this duo is a phenomenon you don’t want to miss!

Check out James Blake’s live performance of “Retrograde” on Letterman, off his newest LP Overgrown.
Here’s my favorite track off Deerhunter’s newest release Monomania. The now five-piece group based out of Atlanta, Georgia feature a more garage rock feel reminiscent of The Strokes.
